Not everything felt completely right to her, they never had and that had become the usual sense of life. So she no longer knew how to detect evil in people and she did not know that she did not know. She had thought that she was good at reading people and she was sure that no one could ever do wrong to her. After all she had lived long enough to learn all the tricks of life and everyone in it, she would say to herself.
“We can complete each other’s inadequacies, I mean I definitely need a strong woman like you!” said he softly, sitting in the little kitchen, in search of comfort in her soul. She looked at him, she knew it was not him. No he was not the one, no man was able to be the one and no she was not looking for the one. She hated to need a man in any respect, but her heart did not agree with her once again. It wanted her to touch him.
“Maybe,” she finally replied with no trust or love but void. She did not like this feeling but she could not avoid it either.
He was a salesman, he knew how to sell anything and everything including himself. He began seducing her in his masculine way. She did hug him with her eyes, men’s common belief of every woman is a potential whore in the back of her mind. She hated him and she knew he hated her for the feminine power she possessed and he was more eager than a rapist in the darkest time of a night to hurt her for that.
“Let’s just go to Marmaris… it is such a wonderful place…you will love it there!” he added. He knew that she was a loner, longing to be with nature. She knew that his seemingly big and fearless world was as small as her little wet hole.
“Yes, I have heard a lot about it; they say it is still quite a virgin place!” she replied, her dreams of becoming one with nature,as pure as nature, far from the jungle of other souls. She poured water into a tall glass for him.
“Just like yourself!” said he with no word when she handed the glass of water to him. She walked out to the balcony to see the stars while his mind wandered around and under her skin quietly. She wanted to watch the stars, she looked up from the second floor of the big white building, still hoping to touch the good in him despite flirting with his evil.
“Don’t worry about moving, I will help you move…you cannot just live on your own like that…you are a woman…how long do you think will you survive? It is a wild world, especially fragile women like you, don’t you know that yet?” he politely frightened her to glorify his manhood without knowing that how little he looked in her eyes. She felt nauseated suddenly without being able to recognize the reason. She wanted to know more about this little man whom she thought was her friend. She wanted to know why men found it hard to tolerate strength of her womanhood, why they all became little ,bitter and evil as soon as she presented it. Why was her womanhood still something to be tolerated?
She moved her eyes from the stars back to him. Another man in the opposite building’s balcony appeared in her sight. He was old and naked, holding what he had between his legs. It seemed to her that he had been staring at her while she was traveling to the stars in search of her dreams. She turned around and looked back at the little bitter man in the kitchen.
“Yes, I am a woman and it seems like my womanhood bothers people more than it bothers me!” she replied and looked into his eyes. Her words echoed in her ears straight after uttering them.
“No, why would my womanhood ever bother me if,” she asked when she detected the anger of the evil in his smile. He remembered his little daughter in the green depth of her soul but his evil was still louder. He wanted to get as much as he could from her… He wanted to destroy her just like how he had destroyed himself and blamed life.
How interesting, she thought to herself. Men wanted to be God hence hated the way they needed women, hated to see how sublime womanhood was, she said with no word while staring at the little man who was in a war with no one but with himself. Oh how little and pathetic he looked to her, but she knew she was going to have to choose little devil against many in this jungle and she did.
He sang a song while he drove next day. “This is a new beginning for both of us!” said he with a smile. She,too, was happy.
“Can’t you see the face he has? He looks like a murderer?” said a voice in the darkest part of her mind. She did not hear it but she felt it.
“What is wrong?” he asked when he saw her irritation.
“I don’t know,” she replied and covered her misery with a timid smile.
“Are you sure?” asked he. His tone threatened her secretly. He stopped at a gas station. They got out of the car. She stood by the door and looked around. She realized how much trust she had invested in such a little man like him while he was filling the tank with gas.
“Get away from him! Get away from him!” shouted a voice everywhere when they sat at the nearby restaurant.
“He is a vampire, can’t you see the blood in the corner of his mouth?” said the black creature with red mask, sitting behind him. She saw it but not him.
“What is the matter?” asked he sarcastically.
“He never really cares, he is the most evil man just because he is little, remember that! All little men are evil just because they are little!” shouted the old witch with red hat on his right side. She opened her eyes wide.
“What is going on?” he shouted and stood up. So many vampires appeared in his eyes.
“He is evil, he hates women, the only reason why he is with you is because he is hungry and horny!” said another witch on his left side. She stood up and screamed:
“Help! Help! Evil! Evil! Evil! Help!”
People looked at them and they said nothing.
“Wake up!” said he.
He was in her bed, she was naked and beaten when she woke up. And there was another man in the room.
“Your father was a good man!” said he. She closed her eyes and there was only warmth of her own tear to feel and she did.
